What A Great Tour it WAS!

The 2024 Metro Denver Green Homes Tour is over for this year! There were our traditional three speaker sessions and fourteen ten homes to tour. As always the color brochure explaining the energy efficiency features of each home was published and all of our great sponsors have lovely ads to feature their products and services for creating an energy efficient home for you!
The parking lot of the Jefferson Unitarian Church also featured Trex Ebikes, Several types of EV vehicles, and a container home exhibit. After the tour hours our sponsors and related non-profit groups had tables that educated us about available products and opportunities. Those who attended the Expo from 4:30 to 6:30 pm enjoyed a buffet and guitar music.
We enjoyed a fantastic attendance this year but we get fewer than the old days when solar was new! Now we feature so many other steps to energy efficiency, be sure to follow our facebook page for more information all year!
Our 2024 Presentations

These were a resounding success! First we learned about how to join a community solar garden to pay for a portion of electricity use. We enjoyed meeting at the New Brewery in Golden in a separate meeting room. Beer was good too!
Then we heard from a panel of homeowners who have implemented several different types of energy efficiency and electrification projects.
Finally Xcel presented great information about their programs to help homeowners increase efficiency in their homes.
